		<description>Well-put.  I actually wrote a similar post yesterday that touches upon the value of raw talent vs industry experience.  Your post reminds me of the old proverb of giving a man a fish versus teaching him how to fish.  Using that analogy, a salesman with a strong rolodex has plenty of fish.  However, that supply of fish dwindles daily as &quot;favors&quot; are called in and as contacts switch jobs.  Knowing how to fish is far more important so that the supply of fish gets replenished constantly.</description>
